I’m currently reading a book called “Unstoppable” which is a collective of stories of successful people who overcame adversities and misfortune.
One of the stories that really touched me (pause) is about Millard and Linda Fuller. Their names might not sound familiar but their cause might ring a bell.
They are founders of the Habitat for Humanity International. Milliard Fuller was a self-made millionaire running an empire by the age of 30, and had everything you could possibly imagine, yet this level of success didn’t provide any sort of happiness. Long story short, he ended up walking away from it all to follow a true passion close to both him and his wife’s heart, which was to help others less fortunate.
A perfect example of how money doesn’t buy happiness.
We should never settle, because in the end, we’re the ones who are going to suffer for not going after what truly makes us happy and what fuels our passion because we decided to take the easier route or what seemed more practical at the time.
OK enough with the preaching.
